The Expanse - Game of Thrones in Space?

So I woke up this morning and my good friend had basically done all my Nerdgasms blog topics for me (nice!) and one of the things he dug up was the upcoming Scyfy show - the most expensive show it's ever done - touted as 'Game of Thrones in space'... The Expanse.

The trailer isn't bad, but what got me excited - truly, madly, deeply - excited, was the cast!

If you're a cult TV kind of human being there are going to be names and faces in this that will make you quiver in your nether regions.  Here's just a few of the familiar faces:

Shohreh Aghdashloo:  Even if you know her from nothing else, and she's been in plenty, you must recognise her voice.  It's unmistakable and the place she made me happiest was actually the game Mass Effect 3 where she played Shala'Raan vas Tonbay.

Thomas Jane: The TV show Hung was one of the most original things on TV when it came out, I was completely devo when it was cancelled way before it's time.  Thomas was the shows centreal character.

Elias Toufexis:  He has been around but again, for the nerds out there, you will best know him for his work in the video game Assassin's Creed series, and my personal favourite Dues Ex: Human Revolution.

Jonathan Banks:  Is a crowd favourite and probably best known for his work as  "Mike" on Breaking Bad and is about to reprise that role for Better Call Saul.

Paul Costanzo:  Royal Pains was one of the best comedy/drama pieces on TV until about season 4 when it became painfully repetative.  Paul played one of the central characters, Evan R. Lawson.

I swear the voice over in segments of the trailer is also Michael Hogan, who I LOVE and is best known as Saul Tigh from the BattleStar Galactica remake series and the Mass Effect 3 game.  There are other people in the trailer as well that I know... but... just can't my finger on their names, that's gonna drive me crazy - still, the above cast and the show premise is enough to make me give it a try.
